Hello,

I am also a mother of a boy with autism. I am the founder of Jordan Lake School of the Arts in Apex, NC-an inclusive school for children on the spectrum with an arts based approach to education. I have a local and national radio show and interviewed DJ Svoboda yesterday-he is in your lovely book which we also mentioned. I would love to do a phone interview with you for the show if possible. I would also be so grateful to know if you would work with us on a show-we have created our own unique canvases using a special dye that each child has a part in---inclusive art at its best. The theme is "One." Thank you for your consideartion!

Best,
Beth Kuklinski

These paintings are the outpourings of transcebdental thoughts, done at one sitting, without the use of an eraser, where the white is not paint but the bare canvas left untouched. For want of supportive facilities, Rohan could obtain had no formal training in art; but it was his well-wishers in Yoga and friends who have enabled his work to be showcased to art lovers

Came across your book and blog and wanted to congratulate you on this accomplishment. Here in Louisville, Kentucky we are trying to educate people on the creative potential of folks with developmental disabilities. The website I have typed in is our Wordpress blog...we are always open to learning more about working with folks with autism. Thanks, Al

The book is wonderful and reflects a "spectrum" of art. I am so grateful to be part of it. I invite all the artists to contact me if they are interested in exhibiting in our new gallery that is opening July 1st in Lee, Massachusetts (the bershires). The Good Purpose Gallery is featuring Asperger's art. Congratulations on a great book!
sincerely, michael

My granddaughter is 11 yr. old. She has tried to draw many times and gets frutrated that it doesn't look like what she was seeing. I cannot explain to her that what she sees does not have to look like the other. I thought if she could look at others works, maybe, she would keep trying.

I love the pictures Debbie. There are a few I would LOVE to have in print sizes to frame. They are sooooo meaningful. Better than most art I see people paying big money for. Congrats to you and to all the children who participated in this beautiful book

I review books for Examiner.com & other publications. I am currently preparing a review of this important book for all three. I find it full of stunning art and insightful information about autism. Reading it & viewing the art has been a valuable learning experience. I recommend it to others. The first review will be posted on my Examiner pages (http://www.examiner.com/literature-in-los-angeles/ken-fermoyle) in a day or two.
