J.A. Tan, Gregory Blackstock, and Marcy Deutsch were at the Paint the Town Red gala at the Vancouver Convention Center April 8, 2011.

J.A. Tan

J.A. Tan resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and is a recent graduate of the prestigious Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Last year, he had a one-man show at the Ayala Museum in Manila, Phillipines. J.A. will be on hand at the Paint the town Red celebration at the Vancouver Convention Center the evening of April 8  to sign books and to share his paintings and his innovative sculptor called ”Inside Out” which is a representation of how it feels to J.A. to have autism.  His website is www.artofjatan.com

Gregory Blackstock

Seattle based Gregory Blackstock is a savant, whose love of art has helped him overcome many limitations. His distinctive drawings have captured the imagination of art collectors throught the world. In 2006, a book of Gregory’s works, “Blackstock’s Collections,” was released and has been internationally received. He is represented by Garde Rail Gallery. Gregory will be drawing at the “Paint the Town Red” gala.

Marcy Deutsch

Marcy Deutsch, resides in Yelm, Washington, and loves to paint animals. Her renditions of birds and dogs, have been featured in “Bird Talk” and “Dog Fancy” magazines. Marcy’s paintings are displayed in many public offices in Yelm, Washington. She also speaks on what it’s like to have autism. Her website is www.crittersonthings.com.
